Maxed Mains

I was wondering, what's it like to have a level 138? How does it compare to say being a low level pure?

 

When i had the near maxed account which i bought before it was recovered was very fun to play on, i could go to any boss. Since it has recovered i have my account now which i find alot more boring.

 

having a nearly maxed combat main (cb 135) i find it pretty fun, u can pretty much do anything you like, given u have the required gear and it is pretty awesome tbh , alot more fun as compared to having like a 110 combat main or so =p

 

That is one thing, PvMing and bossing.

I find that if you don't have like 1B worth of stuff, your practically stumped.

 

i only got a 130M-ish bank and im good to go, only thing i cant rly do yet is nex and its not money problem its gear problem :X , with about 15M u can go corping in the best gear so its not that hard

 

It's boring if you're not rich to be honest. Pking turns into who has the best gear, and yeah. If you're rich though it's good fun, especially if you're in a good clan.

 

Maxed mains are great fun, the only problem is once you are maxed you feel compelled to skill...

I can't decide whether to make my new account maxed main or turmoil pure, my only other main being recently permed >_<

 

I love my main, however without a 200m+ bank you are pretty stumped.

 

It's boring if you're poor. But if you have some decent gear it's fun to solo bosses or go with people around your level. That's what I do ^_^

 

Depending on what you like doing, the gameplay is amazing.

I wouldn't exactly say being 99 all combat stats is enough, unless you have the Summoning to enhance everything, and the gear (not necessarily expensive gear, but Chaotic weapons/shields, etc.) so that your choices are unlimited.

But once all those doors open, it feels great doing things like small team Nex, etc. just to try it.

 

I would prefer playing on a pure, than on a main. At higher combat levels, it all depends on how much RSGP you have in comparison to others in your level bracket.

 

I don't have a maxed main, but my brother has a 137 which is practically maxed. I enjoy going on there knowing that I dont have to worry about accidentally training the wrong skill. I can go boxing and rapiering against other maxed mains, but pking cost a little if you die. All in all, having a maxed main and pure is awesome!

 

Its good to be done with combat and not have to train it plus every combat update you can do without much strain.

 

Thanks for all the answers It does seem that money is the issue for high leveled accounts.

 

I have a 136 and low level 40 attack 87 strength 1 def pure and mains are so much more fun... I can go to nex and god wars and corp and to be honest it's so much better then going to wildy getting pj'ed and teleing.

 

When I became maxed I quitted cause its just boring, most fun is when you are starting playing runescape and you are learning new things.

why be weak when you can be the strongest

 

With higher combat mains you can do any type of staking with equal stats on the other end, higher risk PvP fights, better PvM, many more quests, better gear, when a new item comes out or quest you can use/do them. The list goes on.

Pures are purely for PvP and generally have low risks so I never bothered with pures.

 

I only play on my main as of late, mostly for Clan Wars, Pking, new quests ect.
