I disagree. OSRS accounts are hella hard to sell. 1. They're too easy to recover. 2. Not that many people play the game anymore. 3. The people playing are typically younger, and don't have a bunch of cash. And finally, 4. Not many people want a maxed account, regardless of it having a high or low price tag. What I end up seeing on sythe, is people post their account for sale, with some high price in mind (thinking - while if you account for the hours I put into this, etc), they usually get way lower offers than they were expecting or scammers offering them exactly what they want. Then they end up leaving the post up, bumping it several times a day, only for it to get outdated and they end up just never using the account.

 

More people are playing OSRS now than ever before so not sure about the dying part, Rs3 yeah sure but Old school is on the climb not the downfall, Also recall jagex doing straw polls on the age demographic and pretty sure the majority was early 20s

 

While I'm comparing OSRS to the original runescape (pre-rs3), so maybe OSRS numbers are climbing, but back in the day it was much more popular in my opinion. As for the age demographic, 20s is considered young, and theres not many 20 year olds I've met who are incredibly interested in runescape, can spend $1000+ on a single game, and don't already have their own account. Again though, this is all my opinion, if you can find a quick buyer, then great! I wish you the best of luck
