Obby Mauler or Zerker?

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a new project to build and keep me interested to play on. I just want to hear some thought and tips from you guys if you have any. I know a lot of you will say make a zerker.. Just fire away.

My thoughts right now though is to have low prayer on either account with maxed gear, including a fire cape ect.

Ideally:

Obby mauler: 1-16 att 90+ str and 1-13 prayer or 31?
Zerker: 75 att 90+ str/range/mage with 16-31 prayer

Let me know if you guys have any experience with these builds, I would love to hear some input.

90 strength on obby mauler is going to take forever bro but its a fun build. Stay at 1 prayer for lower CMB lvl.

 

I'd make a low level gmauler lmao they take like a week to make and are super fun i have a almost maxed mauler and a low level one

 

Zerker is much more work, but is fun for a longer time. If you hate questing you should go with the mauler, otherwise take the zerker

 

Start with the mauler and then if and when you get bored, make it a zerker.

 

Agreed, you should make an obby mauler first. They are fun to pk on and are my personal favorite pure build. I would recommend 13 prayer after 70 strength. You can get 43 prayer for fcape later.

 

Zerker would take longer but be more fun, Obby mauler is fun too

Both would be a lot of fun, just depends on how much work you want to put into this. I would go with obby mauler. Zerker if you're determined.

 

Thanks guys! I've actually been juggling on this a lot lately now between a Zerker or Main pker

 

you can do a lot more with a main/zerker

 

If you plan on mainly PvM id go main. If you want to be PvP focused, the zerker brackets are much better.

 

Why not make both man? Playing both at the same time then being able to mix it up while pking would be mint. Both would be great builds

Was going through the same thing on my 1 def. Chose to go zerk mainly because its my only account now and I want to enjoy more of the game than pvp which a 1 def or obby is limited too. Cant do clues or boss much. Loot is also trash for the most part on 1 def or obby accounts

 

I would say longer term Zerker. No harm in beginning as an Mauler and then going zerk however. I just recently turned my Zerker into a Dharoker but enjoyed the Zerker whilst it lasted.

 

I would say obby mauler they're so easy to farm kills on.

 

I would start as a obby then pk with 60-70 str before transitioning to a zerker pure
