Amount scammed: 300M and a great account 90/90/85 70 pray which he got banned.

Explanation of the trade: I gave 10 accounts of mine to Spectacular Deliveries discord. They gave a trial worker two of my accounts to work on. It was do to multiple quests, agility and slayer.

How they scammed: Spectacular Deliveries notified me that one of my accounts was banned. They did an internal investigation and found out the new "trial" worker had been botting on my account even though I paid for it to be done by hand. I was originally told he only had access to one account. While I was at work and hadn't had an opportunity to change passwords to all the accounts I provided to the service. I guess he had access to another account which wasn't mentioned to me from the previous day which wasn't banned yet he logged into and wiped clean of 250-300m. When I finally got home and got into the account (which was still logged in) he had it mining extremely poorly in Varrock in the middle of the open (likely trying to get it banned as well) to cover up him wiping it clean.

Hi all,

I'm part of the management team at Spectacular Deliveries OSRS account services. Below is some additional information from our side.

A) Matty was a trial worker who was only allowed access to one account at a time. His tos agreement and UID: imgur.com

B) Matty was banned from the server for breaking our worker ToS.

C) The customer, OP, was refunded 44.8m plus 20m wealth that was on the banned account. He agreed to use this refund on his additional accounts, basically adding to his wallet balance. imgur.com imgur.com

We contacted the customer to offer full transparency into this isolated incident. The customer expressed his appreciation for our honesty and continued with his services order.

The customer later contacted us inquiring who had access to Account 1. This was an account Matty had completed. This account only had 150m wealth added on after Matty completed the service order for the account: imgur.com

Things we'd like to note:

Matty was a trialist and only had access to one account at a time, with a maximum wealth of 20m.

Matty had completed 2 jobs separately, prior to this incident, without any problems.

Timeline:

13th March 2023 15:31 - Customer was advised of Account 1 completion.

13th March 2023 20:41 - Matty was given access to Account 2 to complete.

14th March 2023 13:14 - Matty reported Account 2 had been banned.

14th March 2023 15:31 - Matty had been banned from the server for breaking ToS.

14th March 2023 23:12 - Customer reached out that someone accessed account 1 which now had 150M gold

We are partially at fault for not advising the customer to ensure all old passwords were changed. As with all services, it is a standard practice to change your password after a service has been completed. We are ensuring this is communicated with our customers moving forward.

We don't have the details of when wealth was added to Account 1, but I will note that this value has jumped from 150m to 250-300m. As per our customer security, we advise customers to change their passwords instantly for these cases: imgur.com

This is an unfortunate situation and we are committed to helping in anyway. We want to build healthy relationships with all of our customers. I appreciate our customer bringing this to light and holding Matty accountable. If there's anything else we can do, please let me know.

 

Yes @President I also am not trying to hold their Services Accountable. I understand I should have changed the password which led to the 250-300m go missing. I still am continuing to do more service with them even as we speak and wasn't the intent of my message. The issue here is Matty#2379

To add to what CrazyDavy said I added the GP after the account was given back to raise its Magic level to 90 and to use it to trade to other accounts of mine once completed with services to get 90 magic as well. I am making a farm that requires it after their services completed the quests I paid for. I traded an enhanced seed as well as the loot from an account being at CG for 2 days as well. I have a screenshot with a friend that helped me mule the stuff where I specifically said 150m but it was just me talking quickly just thinking about the seed as soon as the scenario took place and not the other looted items that were moved.

When account 1 originally got banned they did go out of their way to find out the cause and who was to blame. They could have just said it was my fault and I would have left it alone.

 

Matty worked in the server from March 10th - 14th. Our server just opened, mainly Ex-boosters from the GT fallout, but we have loyal customers who were requesting services and a server made sense. He was a trial worker with an 80/20 split. A portion of that split was to be allocated to his deposit, but he clearly didn't hit a deposit as he scammed within a few days.

At the time Matty joined, we were brand new and still determining deposits as any ex-booster from GT was getting 100% payments. We've since implemented a deposit system which all workers are working towards. Any trialist has paid their deposit.
