    Mac:
    ========
    Well if i was to buy mac i was thinking of buying a second hand macbook pro as i don't really want to spend that much on a new one. I would also bootcamp it with windows 7

    I cant really find any mac's that stand out for that price, If anyone can find one for me please post it :)

    ========
    Thanks for reading :) if anyone did, If these are all not worth it for the price and i should get something else instead what would people suggest for the things i use it for. (NOTE: i wont be on WoW hardcore like 16 hours a day) It will just be for basic use like going on for a few hours and being able to play without lag and play decently.

    Overall what would you guys suggest? Trying to pay the extra 500 ish and getting a $1500 macbook pro or just going for windows and getting what i can? I really need to know =\

    THANKS GUYS <3

    Advice for a new laptop? :)

    I wouldn't suggest getting a Macbook, Option #2 is good in my opinion, will do what you ask.

    Advice for a new laptop? :)

    Ehm as a graphics designer you really want to have a high resolution.
    1366x768 would be extremely annoying to work with in my opinion.

    If you go for a laptop w/ 8 gb ram + quadcore + dedicated graphics card + full hd screen you can do all the stuff you wanted to do.

    I don't think that will fit in your budget if you want to get the newest generation of everything.

    But you can probably get a sandy bridge i7 QM + 8 gb 1333 mhz ram + decent graphics card + full hd screen for that. Which is a very good laptop :p

    Unfortunately there aren't much 15" laptops with a full HD screen. I personally have a Asus N56VZ with the highest possible specs. Really nice laptop and it might fit within your budget because the prices might be different where you live.

    This is a nice alternative, 6 gb ram + 630m videocard instead of 650m. But it should be able to run your stuff pretty fluid:
    http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-N56VM-AB...=UTF8&qid=1344087315&sr=8-5&keywords=asus+n56

    Some others
    MSI Ge60 ~1100$
    GIGABYTE P2542G not released yet
    Lenovo Y580 (1366x768 display but better graphics (DDR5))

    Dell Inspiron 15R SE $999.99 with i7
    http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-1...ynote_irrank=0&~ck=baynoteSearch&isredir=true

    EDIT: The ones I suggested are pretty much all cheaper than in your list but their specs are nearly twice as good.
    Took me quite a lot hours of research to find those :p (Not for this post, just for my research last few weeks)

    Dell Inspiron 15R SE looks like a nice option IMO

    If you do decide to buy from Dell directly, contact me -wink-.

    I use a Dell XPS 17... huge computer... ugly computer... but it has a 2.3 quad 2nd gen, 555M graphics card I believe, 14 GB RAM, 750 HDD... it is also 3-D capable and comes with the glasses.

    I bought this about a year ago and for a good price I believe of ~1.3k? I bought the ram seperately on Black Friday. It could have been MUCH cheaper if I didn't get a friggin' blu-ray writer...

    Advice for a new laptop? :)

    Well according to the prices it was the best.

    But considering it is $1222 for you there might be a better option. They are all great, I would compare the prices of the Dell Inspiron 15R Se, MSI GE60 and Asus N56VZ.

    On the dell site there are always coupons
    http://www.dell.com/content/topics/...codes?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~tab=2&redirect=1

    Save an extra $50 off a select Inspiron 15R laptop (order code fncwv86r): 9JZGNPH0WMBZSR

    Usually Asus laptops are slightly cheaper than Dell laptops so look into that. I would just get the one that is the cheapest, as those three are all amazing laptops. All have an i7 3rd generation, good graphics card, full hd display, etc.

    Be sure to look into the design & thickness etc. aswell. But I believe that the MSI GE 60 is the slimmest and that the Asus & Dell are slightly thicker.
