massive bann on unregister accounts?

is it me or jagex just bann alot of unregister accounts yesterday my workers reported me 15 banned account that happend yesterday it seems weird but just wondering if it's just me or more people?

 

I haven't heard anything on this, however it wouldn't surprise me since they are pushing the new launcher so heavily. I was trying to login into one of my accounts the other day i forgot the password to and eventually remembered the correct password, but the only option listed to actually recover the account password was to sign-up for the launcher. Smh.

 

i lost so much on GP/USD on that bann wave, since i gotta buy unregister emails + pay my workers to build it from scratch and the gp i put on them total lost 500-600 usd.

 

These ban waves are brutal, but I believe it's related to them trying to get rid of the Legacy account system. They are trying hard for people to switch over to Jagex Launcher. I have even seen promotions on Runescape3 in-game that give incentives for players to switch. Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done to prevent these bans a lot of the time - especially if no bots were used.

 

I hate to hear that, but at least unregistered e-mail accounts aren't to expensive. Did the account you xfer gold on get banned as well or just the accounts you traded the gold to.

I concur, and I'm just hoping they don't eventually force everyone to use the Jagex-Launcher because that would undoubtedly cause a big stir. I was making a new account and had no idea about the launcher! and the hurdles I had to go through just to get an account going was so aggravating I reverted back here to buy some un-registered email accounts.

 

the accounts take 20-30 days to even get finished so imagine they where so close to finish and spent so much on supplies + gold and my workers got mad about the bans but they do understand they dont get paid if they get accounts banned.

 

had a mule randomly locked like 3-5 days ago, was registered i think, altho i registered it over a year ago and wouldnt be the first time my accounts randomly became unregistered. really sucked tho, had 5b on it, it was my DMM fund. i sold 500m off it to a friend, i usually never RWT with it cuz it was my personal cash. the one time i do, its locked the next day and unlock email goes no where, still locked 4 days later so it wasnt hacked.

Just use the launcher its the same thing
