Market Price Weekly Prediction Thread for [XRP/SC/XLM]

1. Ripple[XRP]: has shown major growth and as of 5/17/17 sits around .37-.41 USD/XRT. As of yesterday Ripple has committed 55 Billion XRP to be in Escrow to maintain its supply. This is good as it controls the current supply in circulation. Along with this, it has grown to be currently number 2 in cryptocurrency market caps. I still feel strong about this as it has promising long-term results if banks start to use it.

2. SiaCoin [SC]: This coin is based around the decentralization of personal data and has been up 66% in past 24 hours. A good summary, is "Sia will be the first fully functional, remote peer-to-peer data storage network allowing users to store data on a decentralized network where it is available for retrieval anywhere, any time, provided you have the appropriate identifiers in place to access that data." via Siacoin Could Dramatically Change the Way We Look at Data Storage | Finance Magnates The price has gone up from .003 to around .0045 in previous day. With a massive supply in circulation, it one day possibly could make cloud storage have a cheaper and better alternative for everyday use. It has also started to have increased exposure which helps it get off the ground.

3. Stellar Lumens [XLM]: This coin is very similar to Ripple and the idea behind Lumens could one day assist in multi-currency transactions across the world. Just as ripple has gone up this currency has gone up about 66% in the previous week. Its recent 24-hour price has been around .048-.051 USD. I feel that if Ripple continues to go up, this currency is for sure to follow in the short term.

Anyways, how do you guys feel about any of these currencies and is there any reason you would or wouldn't buy these? Plus if you have an additional crypto feel free to suggest it and why you feel it should rise.

 

If I was going to invest short term into one, what one do you recommend being the highest return?

Would probably only invest $500-$1000 USD.

Short term would be very difficult, as it's hard to predict where the market will head based on speculation. However, if long-term the next 1-3 years, then ripple would probably yield the highest return.

I've noticed what I believe to be a few Pump/dumps like BCN that have exponential increases within 12 hours but quickly drop. I'm not sure the back story of this coin in particular. It's possible to make a decent profit if caught soon enough and sold once the down turn starts. Be careful with this

 

Which coin are you referring to as I've listed 3 different types, as for ripple it's not a pump/dump as it's gotten lots of venture funding, had 55 billion moved to escrow with contracts which prevent them from just dumping it all. Plus the Bank of England (that's the reserve bank of the UK) is experimenting with it. It's got a long way to come but if it's implemented correctly as more banks start to use it the price will only go even higher.

 

None of the above coins you listed Boney. I was just referring to short term profit.

 

Research them. Figure out which ones you think will be used in the future; those are the ones that you want to invest in. clearly there is much more to it, but that is just a simple addition I'd give to you.

I'll be picking up BAT on May 31st and I am holding gnt/eth/augur and will be picking up more xrp if I think it's going stabilize at this current rate.
