Market Ban/TWC appeal

Well it has been just about 5 months since I was accused of scamming two party hats, I'm not even going to go into detail about how the one guy said he was over it and he thought it was just a misunderstanding or something. But anyways, I think I have in a way proven that I didn't scam/I should still be a person people can trust. I mean 5 months, and people still ask me on a regular basis if they can buy mills off of me? If I was a scammer I would have done so, but I'm not and there hasn't been anything filed against me since those two.

I respected your decisions by not trading with anyone after I was market banned and given a TWC (besides with R2P just because I got permission prior). I also transfered roughly 40m for Dorito in BH (well with him but I had his items on my account) and nothing went wrong there.

Anyways, I hope that you can see that I didn't scam in the first place and that I can still be trusted. So I would like to ask for my Market Ban and my TWC be removed. Or at least my Market Ban, I have no problem doing more trades or anything to have my TWC removed also.

I have never seen any proof that you even scammed.

If there had been convicting proof, you would have been permanently banned, so surely this topic is controversial, or sufficient proof wasn't provided?

 

Thats what I thought when i was banned at first (I think they said it was just a precaution) which is why I wanted to appeal it. So any official response would be much appreciated.

I personally think allegations against Connor are ridiculous. I have dealt with him enough to trust him and know that he wouldn't blow a reputation to scam. He lost a fair deal of his own money as well I believe.

It seems to be the case that you requested to come back with a market ban and Trade with Caution, after being banned.

As far as I'm concerned, if this was indeed the case, you are very lucky.

 

Well I was banned on suspicion, so I was banned because they didn't want to take the chance (or so I was told). Then I requested to be unbanned like 3 months later and then they said would you accept a TWC and Market ban if we unban you and I said yes. Now I am appealing them. I don't see why I shouldn't be allowed since there was nothing that ever hinted at me scamming (besides conversation pictures which dont show anything) and there have never been accusations before or after that incident.

 

You requested to be unbanned. Whichever person unbanned you gave you these overly generous conditions to be unbanned. They were conditions on which being unbanned relied on. As you accepted them, and are now unbanned, you keep them.

 

Well I was told to made a thread if I wanted to appeal them by one of the two who agreed to unban me. So, do I not get a appeal or what?

 

The situation has been reviewed by staff. You aren't going to have them removed.

 

Yeah Con, unfortunately those appeals can't be granted. I mean, we could argue about proof now, but we're just bringing up an argument that we made an informed decision on 5 months ago, when the proof was actually there and present. To try and reopen the subject, which has long expired, and in which much of the information used to make the decision is lost in the archives anyways seems quite foolish.

The bottom line is, when you were banned, you requested to come back under these conditions. So it's quite unfair for you to expect them to be removed simply because some time has passed. They're permanent limitations, not temporary. Nothing against you man, you are a great guy and everything, but when you agree to something, you gotta stick to it.
