Usain Bolt to Play Soccer??

If he actually was a good player, i would say he'd become one of the best. but all depends on his skill.

 

Usian would be too fragile to do any sport besides track. The NFL offered a huge contract but he said he doesn't like contact... If you want to find out more, look it up. I'm not a fucking media whore who needs proof for everything.

 

If he has good ball skills, I don't see why not.

 

I saw it on the news this morning, he said he might, he was saying it's not really hard to do a bit of skill is it.

 

just cos he can run doesn't mean he has foot skills. Soccer isn't just about running. And trying sprinting with a ball while someone is chasing you full speed without a ball. You will no longer be fast.

 

It's actually very easy to control the ball while your running.
If he is thinking of becoming a footballer thEn obviously he must have some skill, he wouldn't just out of the blue say he wants to be a footballer after never playing it in his hole life.

Yeah i agree with 333.. if you're pro at one thing doesn't necessarily mean you will be good in the other.

Not to long ago I'm pretty sure the Houston Texans tried recruiting him to play football

 

He'd have a much better chance at football, especially as a wide receiver. Not into it? They'd bulk him up and turn fragile into man. He'd be a dominant wide receiver. He wouldn't be good in any football(Soccer) leagues. He would probably dominate on freekicks and corners as he'd be primarily taller than any other player and would make easy headers. Besides that, little too tall to have great dribbling skills.

 

Interesting, I couldn't see him playing anything other than football (besides track of course.)

 

I could see some team signing him for like just for a year or something, but more for a publicity stunt than anything. He should totally stick with running, as he's proven that's his thing.

 

Another thing...

Any Football team that signs would expect to pay him A LOT. He would bring in a bigger, broader fan base. These "fans" would pay A LOT just to see him in a football jersey.

Interesting! I really look forward to seeing him play to see if he'll be good or not. Who knows, he could become the next big player or something haha.

 

If he can pass, shoot, and has some foot skills he'd be a pretty interesting soccer player to watch.

 

This would be cool if he actually does it. I've always wondered how the fastest man living would do in certain sports. Although I always thought he would make a pretty good receiver in the NFL..

Why would the NHL offer him a contract? Even if your fast, you have to have an amazing amount of skill in the game to actually play in the NHL.
