A neat idea

A lot of friends have questioned my ability to play music by ear, or learn music really fast. So, I decided to begin doing a weekly video series on youtube where I go on Omegle, and learn, play, and record a random person's favorite song in an hour (or more, idk yet if an hour is to short.. editing takes a while)

Is this a neat idea? Or a bad one.. check out the intro video, it's shitty quality but I get my flip back for the next one

It's been done several times, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with it. It'll certainly help your musical skills to practice regularly like that.

Someone you should strive to beat if you want to try this; the chat roulette piano man. He doesn't even take an hour to learn the song, someone requested him to play fire flies and he just made it up on the spot with the chords of the song and made it sound exactly like it.

 

Good idea, it will improve your musical skills.
