    Nice build!
I do have a question though, why the 3570k over the 2500k? I know lots of people still choose the 2500k because of the greater overclocking potential. The 3570k runs hot.

Let me tell you, the 3570k does NOT run hot until 4.5ghz!!! And there is no reason to overclock above 4.5ghz for gaming. Mine blows every game out of the water at 4.2ghz. I'm talking 100+ fps in BF3 with 1080p res and everything ultra!
All those reviews and shit on the internet, most of them overclocked the CPUs to 4.8+ ghz. I keep mine at 4.2ghz, it runs at 35 degrees Celsius surfing/watching videos etc. and runs at about 42-45 degrees Celsius under load.
It also is newer technology, more efficient, and all the controversy about ivy bridge vs sandy bridge is bullshit... It's true there is no good point to upgrade to ivy bridge if you have a 2500k or better, but if you're building from scratch, you're better off getting an ivy bridge. It is more powerful than sandy bridge core for core; I saw benchmarks that showed ivy bridge got the same performance as sandy bridge clocked over .2ghz lower meaning you can overclock less and get the same performance, and it uses much less power and runs cool if you use reasonable clock speeds.

You need the right cooling if you're gonna overclock 4ghz or higher.
I bought a monitor, keyboard, and headset too. It all came out to about $1700.

Well im on a 2500k on stock cooling at 4.2Ghz, runs perfectly cool.
Thats expensive lol, I could never pay that much.
But im sure it is kick ass while playing games, no lag on anything.

About 50ish while doing nothing, high 70s barely hitting 90 under extreme loads. Not as cool as yours, but not bad at all for stock cooling.

Yeah I could go to 4.5ghz if I wanted... but I really don't see any point, I just like my shit to be cool. xP
I don't plan on upgrading for a LONG TIME. :noworry:
Once higher performance demanding games come out... I still got room to overclock.

Eek, approaching the 90s? It's not quite too hot I guess, like it should still operate fine but that just seems a bit too hot for my tastes. I max at around 66c on a 2500k @ 4.5 using a Corsair H60.

max temps for 2500k are around 108c
OT; if you got good airflow moving through the case 90c is fine, as long as you're dispersing the heat out.
