How to avoid RWT Ban?

I'm long time player, maxed account, got like 1500m that i want to sell, why? Well i don't play as much anymore and even if i got back i'd much rather rebuild.

Maxed account 1.5b. Worth the risk? If so... How to avoid the ban?

 

really hard to get banned unless your trading bills daily. a one off trade you will most likely be fine.

 

Play it safe, I'd stake it over. I'm sure there are bulk buyers that might have a maxed melee account. I guess you could also fake a swap scam, like set up a swap with another account that is not related to your account in any way, then sell it off that other account.

I personally stake it over to my other maxed accounts and then sell it. Every now and then I do got banned on the accounts that are used for selling but my main stock is still safe on my main account.

 

So like make a new account and get it to mid high combat level?

I forgot to say it's RS3 money so that could make a bit difference

 

Yea, or you could set up some fake lure where you act like you're being lured (talk about it in a livechat or something) and when the buyer kills you, he takes the cash and gives you the money via paypal. That would be very smart. Haha =P

 

Wouldn't they be able to track the IP?

So i guess i'd need to use proxy or some VPN? Though i have never done it before so i have no clue...

 

using vpn is same as turning on a tv, 2 clicks of a button

 

I can't help but feel this is all unnecessary. Seriously, unless you sell to a power seller (trading bills a day and is maybe flagged) you wont get caught. I've traded over 1b on level 3 accounts before and nothing ever happened. And that was to sellers like R2P who trade a ton.

 

So get some good VPN, make a new acc train it some and then fake a stake, act all mad and sell? Or maybe fake a hack.

 

Stakes are monitored even better than trading.

Ye, can imagine uneven stakes being even more obvious than a trade. I was thinking more about transferring it off your main account to another account through even stakes. That other account would off course be logged in from another IP and computer and is in no way connected to the main account.

I've done this for years. The account that sells the gold gets banned every now and then but my main account, the one I use to stake with is yet to get banned.

 

Thats nothing new, it's way more obvious if you're staking someone for example with level 3 while you're 120ish. Atleast most of bans I ever received were after stakes

 

Well let's just say it was a max stake 126 against 126 and maybe it was turned into a fake scam stake where the buyer pulled out a drygore x) And after the trade was done, the buyer would send money via paypal and boom no rwt ban. #I'msmart



You could also try this, this would be funny, do a fake telegrab lure. Just have the buyer have 2 accs, the telegrab talker and the ge talker and when the seller gets "Lured" the trade goes safely

Or how about a situation where a partyhat risk fight in the wild goes wrong? Both sides have partyhats that they're fighting with. The buyer ashyxiates + wild magic and no freedom = instant ko, gf partyhat and trade = success.

 

It's 50/50 pretty much. Usually only bulk sellers who sell on the daily get the hammer, but some slip through the cracks and sell bills and bills but don't get found out. You're taking a risk RWT'ing at all.

 

So its not necessarily the best idea to sell to the biggest and most trusted sellers?

And if anything... Just do it in increments?

 

Yea, avoid big traders as much as you can, especially the asian ones. They tend to get flagged pretty quick. Staking can be quite safe if you make it look legitimate.

At the end of the day though, you can take every possible precaution and just get unlucky. So if being banned would be horrible for you then I wouldn't risk it. Maybe you could sell the account with said gold on it already?

 

To be hoenst it's just that the account has somewhat sentimental value to me. It's my first account and only account that i really played on, no blackmarks on it, just would love to sell gold with maybe keeping the account, as i still play occasionally.

 

This is unnecessary because if you're trading to big players their accounts may be marked and any sort of transfer could result in a ban.

Do you have access to a second computer that can run RS? That makes it much easier to move your funds anonymously.
