Disappointed in the way you handled http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1492672
First of all you sold the resale rights. It is important to distinguish this from licensed. When you license something, you have the ability to withdraw the license if a breach of terms occurs. This doesn't apply to sale. You cannot say that since Stui is banned he loses the rights, they belong to him. You cannot go to a man in prison and say "Since you are in prison, this house you bought off me is now mine." Stui is allowed to continue selling the guide on Sythe.org even though he is banned on Sythe.org, and this is facilitated by the fact that the actual trade is generally conducted over MSN or Skype and not on the actual forum, yet they effectively count for the same thing since otherwise you invalidate vouches as a whole. Since the connection between Stui and Brendan was made through their mutual presence on Sythe, the resale is valid.
However, my main issue is rather the idea that once someone is banned, you have the right to ignore their property and proceed as if they had never existed. This is wrong in all senses of the word and in particular I don't see how you justify
Even assuming Stui loses his property after being banned, I don't see how you decide that something that doesn't belong to anybody else must then belong to you. Finally I'd like to point out that distributing something for free is the same as selling it for $0, and that through some more complex rules, you can't sell a guide on several sites for flexible prices, since consumers will pick a cheaper option, effectively forcing the sale price of the guide on other sites to match the lowest competitor.

I'd like the whole thing looked over again by some of the other staff, since I don't think Cosrob's continued sale of the guide can be justified nor Stui's attempt to sell the guide to Brendan.

I strongly agree with Noam on this. I don't understand why someone being banned somehow reverses the trade that took place between the two of you?

I don't know much about guide sales, but I don't get why it'd be "leaking" for him to give out a guide he purchased the rights for?

Edit: For example, if I sold a Runescape account to someone who later got banned, do I have the right to then recover it? No, of course not. I'd get banned for scamming.

An upper staff should really look into this.

I strongly agree with you guys here. Doesn't matter if banned or not, the example that Sanctuary gave is exactly what I mean. I found it plain stupid and selfish how Cosrob handled that situation.
