Making money with osrs gold for saving's.

Hello all, I made and account and came here after being ousted by the reddit community after asking this paragraph:

"Hello, I made a Reddit account to ask a question here because I am unsure and too scared to ask anyone in game.

My girlfriend is suffering from Kidney failure due to IGA Nephropathy, and to help save some money for when I have to take 2 months off of work to care for her after surgery next year, I was wondering if it is possible to sell osrs gold on the side so that way I can make some money on my days off from work. I know its against the rules and everything, but it would be nice if I could do something fun on my days off and still make a little cash on the side I guess. I mainly came to ask this here because when i google "sell OSRS gold" there is a lot of websites that say they buy gold but I have no idea if they are all scammers, or only most are scammers, or what the deal is and wish to be more informed by the community as to who I should trust."

Most of the responses where hostile for some reason and after getting no results here I went here Runescape Gold Farming | Start Your Own Farm and Make Bank . at the end it talked about this community, and I was curious if anyone here can help me understand more about gold farming or any way to make some side money on my days off of work that I can put into my savings so next year ill have some cash when I have to take 2 months off of work to care for my girlfriend recovering from surgery. I know this is not a "get rich quick" kind of scheme or anything, I am just willing to learn and understand whatever anyone is willing to offer me in terms of information and advice and I thank all of you for taking the time to read this!

 

I wouldn't recommend doing this, in fact you're better off finding a second job my dude.

Hello Commander Raymond. I'm very sorry to hear about your girlfriend. The Runescape gold market is too competitive and the amount of work you would have to put in as a rookie isn't worth it.
