Multi Level Marketing - A chance at financial freedom?

So I have recently entered into the multi level marketing business. Basically, you need to have a good team to go far. What do you guys think about multi level marketing? Just curious to hear some opinions. If you do not know what multi level marketing is look up Donald Trump & Warren Buffet. Two examples of the best you can do.

 

It's really sketchy, or at least most of them are.

You buy into it and then you get other people to sell for you, and then they get people to sell for them. It is fishy because a lot of pyramid schemes pass themselves off as 'multi-level marketing'

 

Indeed, in this business model, those at the top reap all the rewards with little risk / work, while those at the bottom take all the risk, do all the work, and usually are not paid well. Furthermore, many systems involve the new entries to pay a fee (sometimes ridiculously high) to join. The solution is to get multiple layers under you, but does this remind you of something? A pyramid scheme.
