Combinations of the Korea's?

Well as you can see, I'm korean with lots of pride.

Over the news, I see that North Korea shut down its nuclear programs and that Kim Jong-il is becoming "nicer"

They sent their regards to the death of a huge human rights activist, even though the activist constantly insulted the country.

The relations between North and South Korea are getting much better and the people in North Korea are starting to have better lives.

I think that the communism in North Korea will die out and the two countries will agree to combine.

ANy thoughts? disagreements? or opinions?

now on topic. I honestly don't think there will be complete peace, maybe for a little while but eventually someone will say/do something wrong and it will start over. But thats just my opinion

People need to stop caring so much about countries just because it's where they're born. I also don't believe at all in any pride for certain races, almost as bad as being racist itself.

 

I'm Australian and I honestly don't see whats so great about the country. I'd rather go to Japan.

North and South Korea? There will always be tension, trust me.

 

I would love to see North and South Korea Combine into Korea again, but in all honesty, can a country that has been separated for generations give up self, in order to join as one country, abandoning what they know to be their own? For generations to come, like with racism, you would see people discriminating against others for their ancestry of being from the north or south.

On a more important note, social discriminations are much more important globally. People hating others for religion, race, or the like. I see every day people who take offense to simple terms that are historically offensive. Case in point - I use the word 'Nigger' in a non-racist way, daily. You now probably think to yourself, how is this possible? You are racist. Don't think so? Consider the fact that you just attached the word nigger to the history of the word, and associated it with 'black' slavery. In the real world, I say this to people of all ethnic backgrounds, who I am friends with. Why? I took the term in it's modern terminology, typically used in rap music, as peer or friend. IE: What's up nigga? Look at this nigga! Shit nigga...

Notice that in the 80's and 90's, these terms were used in the following ways:

Two weeks ago, I was at a party, and someone wasn't clear on the person I was talking about, so I said, 'The Asian kid' being as he was the only person at the party of Asian decent. The guy who I was talking to told me to stop being racist, and I looked him right in the eye, and said, 'Who's being racist here? Is it offensive to recognize a person by their cultural history? he is clearly not of African decent, nor European.' The kid sat back, and realized that it was only the thought of his racism that made the comment racist at all. Think about that.

 

They have as much right to be here as you and me, tbh. The 'true Australians' are the aboriginal people.

I am Korean myself too, but one thing certain. North Korea and South Korea will always hate each other. why? think back at the Korea War. North Koreans were Killing the South Korean people. many people were massacred innocently. It was like a genocide sort of. Now these two nations will forever hate each other, but they might have a small chance of reuniting, yes, but they will still hate each other. Nothing can erase the past.

 

One thing is for sure.
