Can't Play Runescape on Mac OS X Lion!

I just installed Mac OS X Lion today and I was disappointed to find out that I'm not able to play Runescape with this new update. I tried looking up some answers and people are saying that the new Java plug-in that came with the new operating system isn't compatible with the Runescape applet. So, when I try to load Runescape, only a black screen shows up. Could someone please help me? Thank you.



By the way, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this topic, but if it isn't could someone please move it to the correct forum?

 

It's because Mac OS X Lion incorporates Applet2 which is newer and has not been updated by JaGex.

For now you can either use the Mac client for RuneScape, or in safari start up RuneScape in Safe Mode by holding the S key while the applet tries to load, then enter full screen mode and switch to OpenGL.

 

How can I access the mac client for Runescape?

It is not a phisher, if you don't believe me search "Mac RuneScape Client" on google and you will see the same result.

Try and update your java? (not really good @ this)

 

I did, but it doesn't help. I guess I have to wait for Jagex to make runescape compatible with Applet2.
