Okay if the first things to live on the earth were adam and eve, where do the dinosaurs come in?? we have proof of both existing on earth but the dinosaurs were supposed to live like 60million years before us or something. and i know there wwasnt a 60million period of time where humans just became extinct and came back. wtf???

go read a freakin bible nub animals etc. came a few days before the first humans.

if ur stupid enough to believe the bible.

So where did you pick up that little nugget of wisdom, dpunk?

7 days in God's time is a lot longer than in ours. Let's say the dinosaurs could've come sometime during the 7 days and parished not long after.

There is another thread dedicated to disproving the myth of religion. Please use that. :D

There is no reason to believe that Genesis is metaphorical. The Hebrew word for day used in the passages means absolutely nothing other than day. It's just an ad hoc argument used to shrug off the bullshit of the Judeo/Christian creation myth.

The bible is FULL of metaphors. It states in more than one place that time passes faster in heaven than on earth.

The creation of the animals and such took place on the earth. The time of heaven plays no role in it. Also, in my original post I was referring to the age of the earth from the time it was created, I cited nothing from the actual creation.

But it was God who was creating it. God has his own timeframe, which was my point from the beginning.
