Make Money from Alching

I have found an item that gives a profit when alching, this includes the price of the nature runes as well as the price of the item. If anyone is interested in what the item is let me know. I am hoping to get a pin for it =D but I don't know if that is too much. Thanks

The item is pretty easily attainable, I was able to buy them after a day of being in grand exchange.

 

And the reason why I won't tell everyone is because then the item will go up in price, and then it won't result in a profit. I also would like to get something for my find. =)

 

Is there a limit to how many of the item you can purchase per 4 hours?

Like with armor you can only buy 100 in a 4 hour period of time. Not like Yew Longs where you can buy thousands in a second...

 

How would I know whether it has a buying limit? Is there a link that I can use to find out what items have limits? I don't think it has a limit though, however I could be wrong.

 

Why don't you try to buy a thousand of the item...

If there's a limit, you'll only be able to buy exactly 100.

 

is it the skills necklace? you can buy them at lowest and make about 80 gp per alch.

There are many items that give you a profit when alching but most of them have a limit on how many you can buy on the ge or take forever to get a good amount.

 

See, the thing with alching is, you need to have an item that is easily obtainable in bulk. Sure, you may be able to alch torags hammers for a profit, but at 100k each, you can' buy enough to give you time to alch them.
