Prayers on pure?

I have a maxed gmaul pure with 1 pray. Now, I've actually been struggling to play against people with prayer. Plus, having 1 pray is can limit what I can do. Any advice on this? Should I go for 15, 31, 44 pray? I do also want to get firecape but not paying for 70$ for a cape with 1 pray.. cheers in advance

 

Make an account to your own play style. If you want to play the game more and experience the pvp experience you should try a 42 def build w b gloves 15-43 prayer.

 

nah, not 42 def lol. I like pures, just don't know what pray to get and there benefits..

 

If you're 50 attack then stay 1 prayer imo only if you bh.
If you NH or get 60+ attack it'd be reasonable to get 43+

 

Yeah am a maxed gmaul pure. Was thinking of getting 60 attack too tbh

bit late but i have two pures so hopefully this advice will help you.

Onces a gmauler with 15 pray and ones a claw with 52 pray.

What i did first on my gmauler is stayed at 1 prayer, after a while like you're saying it gets hard to pk people with prayer, so i upped the level to 15 to enjoy that slighty, currently i've not gone onto 31 prayer on my gmauler as i have too much fun on it at the moment, so my advice on the gmauler is get the levels in steps. You might find you'll have more fun on a 15/31 pray acc then a 44 prayer as it seriously raises the pures combat.

Onto the claw pure it has 52 prayer, it gets seriously out matched by pures that are 31 prayer but obviously comes with the smite advantage. If i could i would of stayed atleast 31 prayer.

Like the other guy said, do your own thing and experiment with different prayer levels, only you know for sure what you really want and what works for you.

I've recently joined a clan so I think 44 will be useful

 

In 1v1, stay 1 pray or get 16 for avas/dt maybe. For clanning/bridding definitely get 45 or 52.

 

If you're clanning and deep wildly pking then 44 is a must. Accounts which stick to 1v1 need no more than 13 prayer, 31 if you want protect item.

I'd say smite isn't worth it for a pure, everyone of my friends who got it regretted it

I would at least go with 15 prayer but to be honest 45 is fine combat level-wise.

 

13 prayer if it’s maxed.. Ava’s really isn’t that worth it when you have a ranging cape. 31 prayer it’s pointless unless your 60 attack, what will you protect? A Gmaul?
