Macroing ban - False Positive

Hello guys, I kinda need help on this as it's the first time ever this happen to me, today one of my customers were banned for 'Macroing'

The person who was doing the service is right in the next bedroom and doesn't play runescape, I just taught her the basics and she kept going for days, doing the same thing over and over again for around 10 hours a day, and now the account woke up banned for macroing lmao, jagex system is broken af

Does anyone knows a good method to get the account unbanned? Yeah I know about the unban appeal thing but that's doesnt always work. Willing to pay for some help if it works!

Submit an appeal. If the ban was a false-positive, the account will get unbanned.

 

My account was hijacked and someone botted on it. I've submited an appleal and they didn't unbanned me.

 

Yeah, because it was botted. I said if it was a false-positive, meaning there was no macroing involved ^^ @Deiviszm66

 

I just tried tweeting jagex mogs the other day do to a billing error on an account my IP has litereally never touched and it was like I was talking to chat bots " please do this" "please click here" "please follow there directions"

finally I called them all out and was like hey, not ONE of you have came remotely close to helping me handle this situation (about 75usd was used in my name to buy bonds for an acc in aus?) and started posting screen shots and it was handled and refunded immediately. sometime you gotta be alittle pushy/firm

It was under a paid VPN.

Well if you call sweat shop sitting on a bed with air conditioner, just procrastinating and clicking a screen to earn more than a salary in a couple days, yeah guilty.

 

Even if it's a paid VPN, they aren't always safe to use. How do you know other people haven't tainted the vpn ip you are using? How do you know noone was caught botting on it before?

 

Yeah I understand that, but if I use an IP that was flagged before, Jagex wont ban a new account until an offence it's commited again, which wasn't this case

The account I was on had a recent macroing ban, so I don't know if this was a delayed ban

 

Stuck in the same boat as you right now, trusted a site to powerlevel my account due to work and it got banned for Macroing... don't know what to do

 

I used to run a farm of 120 sorc garden bots. From personal experience, they definitely didn't have a problem banning my new accounts (some even after I just finished tutorial island). Once they associate the ip with a major rule infraction, you might as well toast the ip. It sucks but once you flag an ip you shouldn't really risk playing on it, even legit or you will risk getting banned. Macro and rwt bans are largely connected to the ip.

 

I've had this happen before. What I did was the following:

Tweet all Jagex moderators saying that you were connected to a VPN to download torrents because torrent websites are blocked in your country. The VPN must have triggered a false positive and your account was falsely banned.

It has worked numerous times for me, and I was not the original owner of the account.
Edit: This has also worked with accounts that were rightfully banned for macroing. However, I assume the Account Bans page would have had the same success.

just PM jagex and they will check if its real or not

 

It may be that the ip is Venezuelan, they are giving many baned macros because they are Venezuelan ip.
