Something For All Rules - MANDATORY

In light of the recent modifications to the system allowing the staff to give out forumbans, I've decided to make some rules that will apply only to the Something For All subforum. All the rules that apply to sythe.org will still apply inside the Something For All forum, although there may be some extra rules, and some rules more enforced inside the forum.

For those wondering what a forum ban is I will explain that. A forumban is a ban that can be set by sectional mods that will remove access to a specific forum on sythe.org either forever or for a set ammount of time.

Okay, now for the rules part of this post.

The Something For All forum has increased the required quality of a post for it to not be considered spam, to view the specifics of what we are requesting in quality please view The Post Quality Topic, Click Me.

We have increased rules on flaming, and will not tolerate it or discrimination not for the purposes of discussion. In a touchy topic regard racism we will allow the use of some discrimination but only if it furthers the discussion and it is not used to put down another member of the forums, or anyone else not part of the forums.

Those are the two main rules that we will be looking at at this point, but more can be added so check this topic to see if it's been updated,

    Punishments:

We will not be using the infraction system if a sythe.org rule isn't broken, but will use the warning system for spamming.

    Spamming:
    Second offence: 3 day forumban
    Third offence: 2 week forumban
    Foruth offence: Perm forumban

    Flaming or Discrimination:
If it is blatent flaming, and falls against the sythe.org rules as flaming we will use the infraction system and use the following
    First offence: 1 day forumban
    Second offence: 1 week forumban
    Third offence: Perm forumban

If you are forumbanned you may still take your situation up with the Dispute Forums, and it will be looked into by the Something For All sectional mods. If we feel that another Something For All mod has made a fair call, it will stay, but if we feel that the call was too harsh it will be removed.

These punishments are just a guideline, and do not need to be followed by mods exactly. If someone shows no chance of becoming a contributing member to Something For All by only spamming twice, we can make the forumban longer or even perm on the third offence as an example. If the flaming is deemed by very harsh, the mod can extend the 1 day or 1 week forumbans for the first or second offence.

These rules and punishments are subject to change, so make sure you check the topic carefully.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for another needed rule, please PM me and I will look into it.

UPDATE: Warnings for spamming will only be given out for mild cases. Any major or blatent breaking of the no spamming rule will get you forumbanned for 3 days.
