Luck?

Let's start at the beginning of this whole weird thing I like to call luck.

As well all know, Jagex wants money, infact we all want money. So how does Jagex earn money? They suck your mind into this game called RuneScape, asking you to pay $5/£5 for a one month subscrition.

Well, i have come across this 'thing' that if you make/renew a subscrition (with all your days gone [0 day's left]) and log into a members world, your 'luck' is pretty good. E.g: you get better monster drops, you will fail less then usual at courses, etc.

now, i've tried to find out if it's true that you get more lucky when you just got a subscrition so one day before my membership ran out, i went to the place near Shilo Village, right besides the jogres (I think that's what there called) and tested it out on the crossing stones there, since i fail at those thing quite alot.

Here's the results:
- One day before the membership ran out.
- Succeeded: 23/100 times
- The day i renewed my subscribtion
- Succeeded: 67/100 times

Well, it's pretty clear that there is something going on, right? But im still not sure if the 'luck' theory is true, so if you want to try it out, i would appriciate if you could maybe post your results. Kthnx.

And oddly enough in your 2 experiments the numbers add up to 100? Also that is backwards logic. They would make your account more lucky the day before your membership runs out so that you would get a huge lucky drop and then want to keep playing.

I think the whole thing is a load of crap but yeah.

 

Probably just your personal luck to be honest, can't imagine why they'd do this.

 

This is exactly what I was thinking. I would assume that Jagex wouldn't give anyone "luck" for renewing a subscription- If anything, they would give it to someone who had just started a subscription to further suck them into the game so they keep playing the game.
