I was buying the name oak for 475m 07. it's a 3 letter name, this just shows how dirty the market is right now in the name changing section.

We agreed that he would change the name on the account and i would be ready to change it on the other screen.

There's no way the name could have been sniped that fast, this was under less than 1 sec reaction time from me with a screen like this.

It's so easy for a guy like this to just change the name put it on his other account, and then say "now now now change it".
Blaming computers, machines for sniping the name i don't buy it. Be careful.

Was kind of sketchy in the trade too. I agreed that if we did it this way he would not be responsible for snipes, i can't prove that he stole the name but it's obvious it's near impossible to snipe a name in less than 1 sec.

You can see by the time in this picture that im pming him after that it dosen't work.
And notice the time says 11:30 that means i did this in in less than 1 minute of time.

Literally nothing.

 

Name sales are very difficult to facilitate, there is ALWAYS going to be inherent risk. The buyer can be the one trying to snipe the name, the seller can be the one trying to snipe the name, or an outsider who knows of the name is trying to snipe it. There is no way either party can prove their side, it just becomes word versus word.

There have been reports that are very similar to this, but the problem lies with how you completely give up control of the trade. There are several stickies in the Name Sales section that guide users through transferring and proper name sale procedures: [Important] Name Sales Rules + Tips + Transferring + More [Master Post].

@Zero mentions that he can help you transfer the name, but is not responsible for snipes, you accepted these terms. Unless there is evidence that Zero was going to take responsibility for the transfer, there is nothing we can do here.

Now at this point there is no way to prove what exactly happened, that's the dirty part of the name sales scene.

I don't care about that 500m it's not much money to me i just want other people to be careful with you as a name seller.

Edit: i ended up winning 500m duel arena right after.

 

I suggest you read the thread I posted above to prevent something like this from happening again. I strongly advise having 1 side move the name so that there is no latency issues.
