Can't connect to my VPS? :/

connecting to it via SSH on Terminal (Mac OS)

prompts me for a password, i enter my root password, permission denied.

what the fuck?

You need to start server again in cmd,sorry but i don't remember how.You need to write few words, thats all.

 

1.) i stated im using Mac OS, therefore i dont have CMD, i have Terminal.

2.) i cant start the server again, when i cant connect to the VPS in the first place, prompts me for password to connect to the VPS, in which i get "Permission Denied" after entering my given Root Password from the VPS Provider.

 

I believe the problem may have something to do with using a shitty operating system.

Are you sure you're using the root password for the VPS, and not your Mac user?

 

lol, ive tried using:

Root Password of VPS (Supplied by VPS Provider)
VNC Password (was worth a shot)
my Mac User Password (was worth a shot)
leaving it blank (lol)
default passwords (rofl)

 

Is your VPS updating, or offline? Do they have a Support Centre that you can contact?

 

nah according to the site my VPS is "Active". ive opened up a support ticket and awaiting reply, just annoying.

took 3 days to receive my VPS after purchase, and the billing cycle started at purchase date, NOT the date where i actually got it.

and now i cant even connect to the damn thing.
