Good deal. I don't know about you guys, but I was underwhelmed by Andrew Wiggins in Kansas and the SL. Considering all the hype surrounding him, and all that I've seen from him, he didn't look that great. Then again, I may be wrong, and he may turn out to be a great player down the line. But, I'm wary of his ability to contribute right now, and that's what the Cavaliers need. LeBron James is nearing 30, and they need to win now rather than later. Also, it's good that the Cavaliers have a long-term commitment from Kevin Love, so when LeBron is done, they have another superstar to take the wheel.
Aside from Andrew Wiggings, they gave away Anthony Bennett and a protected 2015 first-round draft pick. Anthony Bennett had a very underwhelming rookie year, and will probably never become the player first picks are meant to be. A protected first-round draft pick is great for the Cavaliers; if it is high enough, it is theirs, but if it is not, it goes to the Timberwolves. The Cavaliers traded smart and they got a top ten player in result.
I'm predicting the Cavaliers will have the first seed in the Eastern Conference. They have a great team topped with Kyrie, LeBron, and Kevin. While their bench maybe lacking a little, it's not that of a stretch to say LeBron could be going to his fifth straight final. I don't know if he'll win it however, because the Spurs are just straight up filthy.
