Free Runescape Guides.

I just don't understand why the 'Free Guides' are in the Runescape Black Market?

They're free, so I think they belong in the Runescape section, it's not a serious change or anything.

 

Yes, this has been suggested before. And yes, it would make more sense to be in Runescape section. I support.

The User-Submitted guides are not Runescape related.... they're not allowed to be, hence the reason they're in a different section.

 

It's fine as it is... As they say, 'Why fix something that isn't broken?'.

 

that saying isn't really on topic at the moment, as nobody's saying anything's broken.

I agree with the others though, it does make it easier to have all the guides in one place.

 

Easier, perhaps, if you know they're both there. But, when the sections are in different parts of the forum, traders see one and wonder why the other isn't in the same place: so, they post free guides under sales, and sneak sales into free guides. Whereas most new users to the site visit the blackmarket (and therefore see both guide sections where they currently are), the same cannot be said of RS general.

Thus, it may not be as technically pleasing to categorize a free guide as market activity, but it's more efficient to do so.

That's exactly his point though, it's not broken, so why fix it?

I like it where it is, isn't really a big deal, but it would make more sence for them to be in Rs General.

You could just put free guides under Runescape and sales under the market and just use a forum link (Like the rules and donation center links).

I personally much prefer the guides section to be under rs. >_>.

 

It used to be there, but why change it? All the Runescape Guides are one spot and it's fine like that. I can see why it would be located under "Runescape" section, but there is no need. It is fine where it is.

 

What i suggested here would make sense on how to move the free guide section.
