    Cat Help

I know i can just look online and read guides but im looking here to see if anyone has had any personal advice.

I have a female cat (1 year old), who has been extremly playful and affectionate for the past year we've had her, but ive just had my friend move in, and he has brought in two female cats who are ~7 1/2 years old each. Since they've moved in a day ago, my cat is scared off them and goes into hiding when they are around or stands her ground and hisses at them. As well as this, my cat has now got aggressive and when i try to go and stroke her, she hisses at me as well as swipes and bites me. Im wondering how long this will last and is it safe for my cat. If anyone has had previous experience of things like this, then please post or message me.

    Cat Help

Well a friend of mine has like 3 or 4 cats (i cant keep track of em). He adopted a kitten recently and his orange/white color cat (about 3) had the same "pissy" attitude that your cat is in. At work he told me he started putting the food bowls next to each other and feeding them at the same time. At first nothing changed, but a couple days later they would both go in the laundry room eat but then after words it was a free for all. Now the cats keep there space but are in general mellower. So Maybe force them to get closer to each other and eventually they should warm up.

When people are forced together, they learn to adapt. It is the same with animals. I'm not sure about the food bowl... I don't recall that working very well. Maybe the cat is jealous or spoiled and doesn't want to share...

Either way, they'll learn to deal with their differences somehow...
