When to dodge

honestly i usually never dodge when boosting but when im soloq on my main when some1 is trolling i just will dodge why people ask i will usually 7-10 times gain more lp than taking a loss than dodge -lp

 

Dodge as soon as someone picks Ashe on your team.

 

Flip a coin.

If it's heads, dodge.
If it's tails, flame everyone then dodge.

 

Nop.

I rarely dodge. I'll dodge in a situation where for example our whole team are champs that have no potential to win, and or they are intentional trolls based of their lolking. I prob dodge on average once every 20 games.

 

Can confirm, someone just picked Ashe against me (I was playing Lucian), by time i was level 8 she couldn't do anything. Pretty bad champ if you ask me.

I dodge when people instalock, or a noob with a name i recognise from a previous game is on my team. Is there a tool out there where you can view everyones match history without looking at each individual profile?

 

I dodged for the first time in months in ranked yesterday
Our team : Teemo , Hecarim , Quinn, Gangplank , Taric
Their team : Vi , Yasuo , Jinx , Thresh, Shyvana

 

I never dodge. I play the game for fun, and I've won plenty of games with some pretty ridiculous team comp disadvantages.

 

^+1 That is exactly what most people should do.
If you play to get better, you wont dodge just couse the game looks hard. I haven't dodged any of my games intentionally and never plan to. if i have a soraka AD carry, i will be rolling with it, and try my hardest to win even if it is considered a disadvantage.

 

I rarely dodge due to the team comp, the only time I ever dodge is when it's obvious someone is just going to ruin the game, just by what they pick (i know i said it's not related to team comp) and what they are saying in chat.

Can't recall ever dodging in ranked. There's never a guarentee you'll win/lose based on champs. Trade better, farm better and gain elo.

 

Yeah team comp wasn't the only reason i dodged but i just didn't feel like losing 15lp Other than that instance I hardly ever dodge and never on a customers account.

 

The only reason I'd dodge is if I checked someones lolking for the hell of it and they went like 0-100 the last 10 games.

 

Dodge when the toxic level is over 9000. Don't dodge based on your teamcomp, but if people are already begining to fight and you can tell it will get in the way of the game, dodge. Don't ever dodge based on the champion picks. One game I played in ranked was "zero win potential" with a Garen top, Nidalee mid, and Ashe ADC. I ended up taking Shaco jungle, camping lanes like hell, and we won. Teamcomp only makes a difference in a balanced matchup. Even though Garen is generally considered to be useless in a teamfight, he won his lane hard enough with my help that he was just too big to kill.


Also, I ended up getting a "death timer/movespeed troll" in my game. I looked up his match history and he was on like a 16 game losing streak, playing Janna with ghost/revive. Obviously that's dodge worthy.

 

Had a garen first pick, who also banned yorick/malph/thresh. We ended up winning the game.

Moral of the story? Dont dodge.

 

Just went into a lobby, first 3 picks me - ADC, mid and support. The mid was morgana with Leona support, so it was obvious morgana was mid (She didn't say anything in chat though). Then the next two picked top and mid... Seriously... why do people do this?

Was i right to dodge in this situation as it seemed like it was going to be over instantly.

 

Why dodge? Like you have literally zero reason to ever dodge.

You have a chance of winning a game regardless of your comp, you have 0% chance of winning if you don't play it?

If your team are retards, then focus on your own play. It's carryable.
