You need a TUT badly. I have to tell you before you go on trying to copy some of Runescapes code you need to actually understand what it does. I am not even that far in my programming knolegde yet but i can understand certain parts of it. Secondly you cannot use that code because it is copywrited. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW. Also JCreator is not a powerfull enough compiler to use for that type of code. And the reson it has errors running applets is because JCreator doesnt have the specified applets used on Runescape's script. My personal oppinion is that the creators of Runescape made their own applets so that people cannot access them without having the certain applet.

Zyloch what i mean by that is just that Jagex programmers made their own applets so that no person not working for Jagex can copy a runescape program.

Obviously they made their own applets. You make your own applet whenever you use a Java Applet file. And he needs help with Scar I think not Java. I think the kid tried putting a scar script into a Java compiler.

Well that is illegal because if you are just going to take moparscape's code and change the screen and put your name on it. Also you need to buy a compiler with correct power ( i dont know any ) And secondly if you take that program you will need to know how to write that kind of code if your going to apply. And maybe you would want to know how to programm in java so you will be able to do your job.

lol anyone wanting to do private server related Java programming fails. Mainly because private servers don't follow OOP at all ^_^

Would you mind explaining to me what interfaces and abstract methods are? They are two of many things that confuse me about Java. Help is much appreciated. Are you able to add me on MSN or Aim so we can talk? Thanks!
