    buying an account, i.p. concerns

    im buying this main from a guy whos in the U.K. I live in the U.S. i remember reading that Jagex picks up on drastic i.p. changes and locks these accounts. is there a way around this?

    I live in the US and I bought 2 accounts from a guy in the UK and they haven't been locked.

    they dont necessarily but if the account gets recovered/hacked you will have to prove that you somehow moved from the UK to the US, or else he will still have the power to recover every single time(unless he recovered it then you're screwed)

    Buying an account from random people is never a bright idea. Unless he got if originally from a OMM/Mod also Dont change Passes and recoveries immediately let it sit on your ip for about 2weeks..
