Defense: 77
Prayer: 62
Hitpoints: 80

Ava's Accumulator
Barrows Gloves
Crystal Shield
Archer Ring
2K Broad Bolts

How many range potions, super restores, and sara brews should I have in my inventory? I do not have enough money for full guthans.

I'd say 8 brews, 18 restores, shark, ranging potion 4.


Don't expect to get a fire cape your first time btw...very very few people can get it first time, it's something that takes multiple attempts usually.

 

Its actually quite easy tbh, so he actually probably will. your equipment is more than fine. and your stats are pretty good.

6 Brews
3 Range pots.

 

It is easy, but most people get nervous the first time, resulting in fucking up on jad.

Or idk, maybe that's just me...firecape took me 5 attepmts. =/.


And in your post I'm assuming you ment 19 Restores, not brews.

then maybe have 300 Diamond (e)'s for the 360's and jad, if not then another brew

Are the range pots really that necessary?

Should I take in a holy wrench?

Should I bring excalibur for the special effect?

 

The range pots help, you probably have enough restores and brews anyway.

Also I wouldn't suggest taking in a holy wrench or an excalibur, just have what you have right now and it should be easy, maybe letting a professional do Jad, as it is the only hard part in caping.

 

This is the best and it worked for me, and my stats are close to yours:

6 Brews
1 Range Pot
150 Purple Sweets
Rest super Restore


Try to always use the Purple sweets as food and use Sara brews as last option because you will need most of those for waves 52-61, you should have plenty pots left over at jad, but I have never been able to beat him cause I always get wrong prayer when he is off screen ( I got him to 30hp once though xD) Good Luck!

 

3 range pots, 7 sara brews, and 18 super restores?

The holy wrench gives 1 extra prayer point per drink and slows down prayer drain.

Purple sweets are too expensive. D:

 

3 Range Pots, 7 Brews, and 18 Supers is an ok inventory.

The Wrench is good for training, such as at praying at bandits, it's worth it, but at fight caves an extra super restore or a brew is much better in helping you survive.

 

Hmm just did a calculation.

With a holy wrench, and at 17 super restores I gain: 1768 prayer points + slower prayer drain rate.

Without holy wrench and with 18 super restores I gain: 1800, but faster drain rate.

So which one should I use?

 

Poopy equip, I would use karil's xbow. It's ALOT better. When looking at your def and pray I'd set inv - 12 sara brews, 2-3 range pots(2 if you're not good at waves) and ofcourse rest would be super restores. Oh yeah, use your pray wisely.

 

No to holy wrench, trust me, not worth it.

Range pots aren't neccesary, but I suggest bringing one.


Excalibur is pointless, saradomin brews give more defence.

 

Well I guess it really makes no difference, but I would rather just take the extra super restore.

Most capers, including me, use the extra super restore just in case, but you can use whatever you want.

 

I just recently (yesterday) completed a firecape for my friend I suggest these changes and inventory.

Crystal Shield -> Unholy book This will help since your prayer is 62.
Archer Ring
2K Broad Bolts -> 1k adamant bolts

Inventory:
4 Range Pots
18 Super Restores
6 Saradomin Brews

If you can not do jad I suggest getting an expert like Bartaggio, I recommend him.

 

I only have a book of balance.
Is that good enough?

 

The holy wrench effect only applies to prayer pots, so just take a super restore.
