I see partyhats going back up in price.
With everyone having access to them for like 5k, they will just sell them.

So wait.

 

They hold so little value and are dumped into the game every year. They will never be worth much.

 

This is the first year I've heard of them being released like that.
To combat real world trading. It was an aggressive move.

 

What are hell are you talking about? Old-school team releases the partyhats and hween masks every year lol.

 

As @HNCdice already stated, the rares are dropped like crazy every year, so the idea that they'll be worth something in the future is almost non existent. Maybe in like 3000 years if OSRS is still running, but not anytime soon and certainly never considering Jagex keeps releasing them every year.

 

Yeah, i doubt they’ll ever be worh money.

 

They really messed up on that, they could of just released a few of each into the game to keep the rare status going on the os servers. Shame if you ask me.

 

They are never going to hold value, the Jagex mods have made sure of that.

Does not surprise me. The majority of the os community are constantly voting to make the game easier.

I remember back in the day saving up to buy a yellow phat when it was around 700m. I felt like an absolute legend with a phat. Now you have to have a tbow or you’re poor
