48h macro ban after selling gold

    48h macro ban after selling gold
    This happened roughly 5 days after selling gold and I have never used any kind of bots macros or autoclickers. Could this be because my account got connected to the buyer and hes doing the botting?


    If thats the case, is there anything I can do to unconnect my account to avoid getting permabanned if he keeps botting?

    Nope, just dont trade gold sellers again and be glad it wasnt a perma ban.

    could have something to do with sudden ip changes / use of proxies or vpn/vps.

    I've always wondered about this too, if a seller/buyer is heavily flagged by Jagex for RWTing. Wouldn't it bring down the person on the other end too?

    I'd imagine the seller hurts the game more. Buying gold really doesn't seem like such a problem; especially in comparison.
