New Wave - New Era Pures [Get ready for it!]

First let's review the new way to measure combat levels,


[Your Defence Level]
+ [Your highest stat among: Strength, Attack, Ranged and Magic]
+ 2
----Equals-----
Your Combat level, this could be 4-200.


Pure's are going to change a ton.
I see there being Defence pure's and a new kind of pure that has high, well rounded levels and no defence.

What do you all think? what kind of pure's could there now be from this?

I want to make a "pure" that has 20 attack, ranged, magic, strength; also having 40 defence. and being about level 60 using corrupt vesta or something... what are your thoughts?

 

Defense will be a must, because with the boost in HP armor is going to give it will be important to not get decimated.

 

Summoning tanks.

Combat 102 with steel titan, 99 prayer, 99 defense.

I'm thinking of converting my 1 defence pure into a Zerker, will wait an have a scout about the wilderness after beta is put into place an then make decision.

 

im on the beta now, there will be an immense change in pures, to be a good pure you must have defence, the combat change will make it so that a 20 def 60 str 40 attack pure will be able to easily beat levels 1 def 80 str and 40 attack. this will have a huge impact along with the other skills llike prayer and magic. and the dual wielding will be an amazing change for p2p, huge combos unlike any seen before

 

Lol you cant even say now. It is not even the first week of the beta and jagex will be tweaking things still before release.

 

this and i believe the reason why is because it will add more risk as we will have to bring in more armor to fight things.

 

Low level pkers will all need to go to soul wars and get 99 hp before hand, while still being level 3. That'll give them a huge advantage.

 

I think anything with one def will get rapped in the beta, I'm guessing summoning tanks will be the new prods.

 

I guess it is a good thing that I started making a new summon tank after I sold my old one like 2 months ago...

The seem to be what is going to dominate...Especially since it seems that all wildy is multi combat...Which is should be since they are trying to be like other games =D

 

what do u mean by low level?people under 100 cb probably wont pk and with 99 hp at around 100cb, it is pointless cause you will need to have defence and the hp boost from armours will be way more than 99 hp

 

Hp does not count towards combat anymore

 

People with 1 def and 99 hp would get 2 hit...
