How to build a RS home?

Hey guys, Ive never really trained construction EVER...so I'm wondering how I should start building a house.

What are the advantages of owning a house?

 

Unlimited Glory use - If you hang up a glory
Unlimited Portal to 3 Teleport Destinations (Kharyll Included) - If you have a portal room and 100 of teleport runes

Workshop - Cheaper Barrow repair
You can have a gilded altar and have a pray source

To just name a few. Having a house helps, at least in my point of view.

 

75 Construction was the best move I ever made on my account.

There are hundreds of advantages.

 

I'm in the same boat as you haha. Never been above 1 construction because I saw it as nerdy, like a second life.

 

Yeah, like has been said, 75 is really good to have, because you can make a guilded altar(which when used is the best prayer exp ingame).

Of course, if you have a ton of money, there's so much you can do with your POH and make it look really good. One of the best things is the dungeon now, since they upgraded how much money you can put in the treasure chests. It used to be like 1.5k for the highest levelled chest, and now it can hold as much money as you want to in it.

 

Owning a home is great, if you bot, you can bot some skills in your home without fear of being reported!

Also as said, there are numerous advantages, one being you can have your own dungeon with exceptionally hard monsters.

The only downside is that its expensive.

 

i have 1 construction as well

is it possible to put chao druids in ur dungeon, and bot them, loot their items, and have a p much non-reportable training place while making good gp and xp an hour?

 

I am pretty sure you can't do this. Also, you can have more than 1 portal room so you can have teleports to Camelot, Ardougne, Yanille, Canifis, Lumbridge, Varrock and Falador. Also unlimited glory charges. Your own barrows repairer. Etc.

 

npcs in your dungeon won't generate loot or exp

How do I actually go about starting though? Where's the estate agent or whatever and what do I have to do?

 

There's an estate agent in Falador. Once you arrive at the tele spot, just head a little eas tadn you'll see a house icon on the minimap.

There are a couple of other locations, as well, but Falador probably has the easiest access. The other ones I recall are Varrock(a little NW of the museum) and Ardy(south of the mansion with the Jade vine).

 

Construction is a great skill and very usefull, you wont regret spending the cash lol. In my eyes the unlimited glory, teleports, g altar and workshop are probably the most usefull. Gl bro.

 

There are estate agents at multiple places, Falador near the furnace is your best bet.

Then the portal you'll need is at Rimmington.


To first level up construction, I suggest purchasing Iron Nails (300) And Planks (75) You will also need a Saw and a Hammer.

Construction costs a lot to level up, so be prepared to fork out some cash for the higher levels.

 

Pking in the wildy > House teletab > Pray at alter (Quick/cheap prayer) > Rub unlimited glory > Ready to pk again
