    Any advice on gaming laptops?

Im willing to spend about 1200 at most preferably 1000$ for a laptop i can run basically any game on. The games dont have to all be ran at maximum performance and all of that but something i can easily run Overwatch CSGO ect on without having lag and huge problems! thank you guys :D

Look for something with a quad core i5/i7, something like an i5 6300HQ or i7 6700HQ. A GTX960M or 970M and atleast 8GB of memory.

    Any advice on gaming laptops?

If I had any advice on gaming laptops, it would be not to get one and get a gaming desktop instead. Do you really need the portability of a laptop (gaming laptops are heavy anyway). You can get much better value for money with a desktop
