    ~Help With Windows XP~

Hi, i have windows xp and i recetly had alot of problems with it, so i decided just to reinstall windows xp and start fresh. So i reinstaled it, and now on my new one everything works great, but instead of saving my things in to the local disk c, it is saving them to local disk k, which has barly any space.... and cant even watch a full you tube video with out it saying memeory is low, also when i turn my computer on, i have to choose between my new xp or my old one, and i was wondering if anyone knew how to total delete my old one and how to switch from saving on k to saving on c.

sounds to me like when you did the re-install you never formatted your hard drive so you have two operating systems on it. To delete/format your hard drive you should do a restart and press (f1) or whatever key enters setup. From there you should be able to go under boot menu and select which drive to boot from and which one to format. I think when u re-installed xp it partition your drive twice. Just delete your old partition. There is one problem that might happen but im not too sure which is: you wont be able to utilize your entire hard drive because the partition is set to a designated amount which was setup during install. It might do it automatically (utilize entire drive) when u delete the other partition but I dont know.
p.s. dont allow random people to remote assist you.

Im just warning him in general to not allow people access to his computer. Im not saying your not trustworthy or knowledgeable enough to help him. Im just giving him some advice that when do remote access to make sure who ever your connecting to with is trusth worthy and knows what they are doing. I only really said that cuz I know there are shady people on this website and there a few of us like me and you who actually want to help people with their problems. So no hard feelings.
