Help Please!

I need a good coder. I'm working on a server, but i'm brand new to making server. I have never done one before, but it looks fun. After about a day of trial and error, I had the runserver.bat to work, but now i've got a new problem. I can't actually play, it says error connecting. Whoever can get this to work will be my hero, and i'll give you mod on the server
