Looking for A4 Size GFX [Campaigning][Paying]

I'm not a professional at arts or visual design. So this is what I need help at to win my campaign election at a normal school.

I usually don't need any posters but right now I seriously need a cool EYE-CATCHING campaign poster on an A4 Size Paper, or could be smaller than that, but not too small, something printable, and something readable by the general population.

Now I'm giving a few details on the position I'm running for in this election.

I'm basically running as a Treasurer in our school's Prom Committee. I have four other competitors, not including myself, trying to get this spot. Two girls and two boys, I personally won't need to be afraid of the girls and they are generally weaker in terms of politics, but one of the boys is pretty good at "sneaky" stuff and will probably try to get votes the "nonlegit" way if you call it, and the other boy is pretty popular among the lower grades, so he might get the majority of the votes.

Right now, what I want is an eye-catching poster, I want it to be SIMPLE, simple as in not really simple, but simple so that someone would read for a few seconds, and remember my name in their head.

This might be a tough assignment, as it will definitely require some skills in creating such an eye catching poster, it would require you to understand what colors would be best in such an environment, what fonts should be used, how big the letters should be.

I know a picture of me might probably be needed but I think that won't be the case here right now, as I want them to remember my name, know that I'm "professional" and responsible enough to take up the Treasurer role.

So if you want to skip all my writing (excuse my paragraphs) and come to a brief point here

• An A4 Size or less eye catching poster
  
• Must include my name (Austin Tan)
  
• Must include the word (Treasurer)
  
• Word (Prom Committee) might be optional, but if you think it would be a much better idea adding the word in, it might look good
  
• I really want to see what Sythe GFX'ers are made of! So show me your best! Preferably in 3D style, fonts you would see in a professional thread or something like that!
  
• Graphics, background, layout, design, all up to you to make the best eye catching poster ever

Payment?

Payments can be done in RSGP or Paypal, whichever you prefer, and amount can be negotiable, but I want this done fast, as I want a strong start, I can pay up to 25M RSGP if done successfully, and a small bonus if I actually won the campaign.

Looks awesome! You might wanna change the font/color for the word "For" but overall it's looking great, try to come up with a few more different designs, as the "perfect" design probably won't come up in the first few tries or something

I have Rainbow Road and Kinaesthic on this project too, and I will see what they can come up with, and it seems like Kinaesthic is a graphics mod, so he might be able to come up with some fantastic posters, but we'll see

Remember guys, I need to choose a final poster by Tuesday night, because I will be putting up posters on Wednesday morning around my campus, so time might be tight, but it shouldn't be tough for experienced GFXers! So show me what you've got! This might be one of the big projects around on Sythe but correct me if I'm wrong

 

And remember, I want contrasting colors, something that would capture attention in my campus.

Now to tell you more about my campus environments so you could adjust the colors to make it suitable, I'm going to post the posters on green and yellow lockers. Now experienced photoshoppers might want to think, what contrasts with green and yellow? And I'm probably also going to paste on red brick walls, so you might wanna think, what is the best layout/design/colors on red brick walls? And maybe you could add another question to yourself, is a border really needed?

Make it as interesting as possible! My future is in your hands!

 

Oh and also, you might wanna add cool phrases that capture attention?

Something like "Student's Voice, Student's Choice!" Please don't use this phrase, as it was just an example!

And please make my name BIGGER than the position name, as my name is what's important, and my name is what is going to be the first thing on their head when they choose the votes.

Oh you might wanna change your wording a bit, because I'm just running for the "Treasurer" position, and not both "Treasurer" and "Prom Committee", maybe my English sucks and I didn't explain it that well, but it's basically a position (Treasurer) in a club called "Prom Committee" and make sure your spelling is right, because you're missing a "M" in "Committee" Looks simple and great

The bottom part of the poster looks awesome keep it that way, but for the top part, maybe change a better font, as I want it readable, easily, yet cool and outstanding, it's great though! Keep the "best choice" the font is perfect. The colors are pretty cool too

A bit too "colorful" and you might wanna change the font of my name, like I said, my name must be easily read, and outstanding, if you think you can rework it a bit, you can try another one

Right now, I've got Rainbow Road and Kinaesthic's posters approved looking better than Glare's GFX, keep the good work up guys, just don't put the background too dark, remember to use contrasting colors and misc designs to make it look awesome You guys are the better GFXers than the ones in my school

Oh hey, and try to put phrases in if possible, but also keep a copy of the poster without the phrase as I might need them too and the way Rainbow Road gives me two colors look perfect, because I might be using both colors of posters so that it looks more "outstanding" but just remember to keep to one main color per poster.

Kinaesthic, nice colors try a different color now but keep that color you've got now, I just wanna see which colors might be better

 

Oh and by the way, on a side note, I'm going to look for eye-capturing election phrases, so stay tune on my thread, as I will release them and probably the sites where I found the quotes, and you might wanna try them out, I will pick the final most likely by Tuesday morning or night, so make sure you guys are available on Tuesday for payment

Kinaesthic - Forgot to tell you that you might wanna change your wording too for the bottom part of the page.

What is "Nominated For Prom Committee" Means? Maybe you wanna change that to "Nominate Me For Prom Committee" or a simpler "Austin Tan" in replace of the "Nominated For" and "Prom Committee" at where it was before.

What do you mean by to colourful? The text, the background, or something else?

 

I think he means that you can't really define the focal. It sorta looks like you put a stock as the background as well.

Wow haha that is really creative! I like how you use black, white and grey together add my msn and keep in touch, try other designs for now, because like people often say, it takes a few failures to get to a success

 

Oh and um, really sorry guys for not posting the sites of sources to let you guys find quotes, I was really busy yesterday catching up with lots of chemistry and biology and apparently writing essays too, I'll have them soon hopefully ^_^

Oh and I've got another idea you might wanna try, like you got my name right, you could use the "T" in my "Tan" to replace the "T" in the "Treasurer", see how that goes, it just needs a little replacing but keep the original and try to change the colors a bit to see which works best
