New recovery system

Firstly, If this is in the wrong section I apologise.

I'm selling an account that has a registered email and recovery questions.

Since i've had a few bids on the account I went to go remove it, but the new system just emails you a code to your email which you use to recover. I did this, and it just insta-accepts your recovery? No chance to remove the email.

Can anyone let me know how I can get around this?

What does a recovery system have to do with removing an email? Are you dumb?

 

The old way of removing emails and recovery questions involved recovering the account as if it had been "stolen".

This allowed the email to be removed etc.

If you aren't going to post anything of use, get off this thread.

 

Actually, there are other ways to remove emails. I posted something useful. Its not my fault that you, in ALL your wisdom, don't know how to read.

wow dont argue here , i think the only way to get around this is that u give the code to the buyer instead ?

 

The email does NOT matter.
If I were to try to register an email on your account, while you having an email already, you will receive an email containing a code.
You give the code to me, and thus my email is now registered.

 

I dont like the new recovery thing to be honest.
