Opinions- Botting on a small scale

I rarely bot nowadays because I simply do not have the time to maintain a goldfarm. A few months ago, I botted a few accounts on f2p and stopped after a few weeks in. I kind of realized that botting on a small scale for GP is useless. For me, I only see two options for botting.

1. Botting to train (very risky since account your training you probably aren't willing to lose)

2. Botting to goldfarm on a mass level

Why do I say this? Because currently at the state of RS3, if you have a relatively high level account its pretty damn easy to make 3m+ an hour and even 6-8m/hr if you're efficient. When I was botting my accounts, I honestly felt like the time it took to maintain the bots as well as the space it was taking on my computer was not worth it. With most scripts, the GP yield is like 200k, so like 600k/hr if you have 3 running at max efficiency. If I can make 6m/hr, why would I run 3 accounts and risk IP flag (assuming not using VPN) and a ban? Plus the time it makes to buy an account/make an account

What do you guys think about this? My current perception is that goldfarming is not worth it unless if done on a mass level, with VPS and all. This takes dedication, and a monthly investment in which you have to earn back. Lots of people of course do this and are successful

What do you guys thing of this? Have you been able to just bot casually in the background without running a large operation and have become successful?

 

At the moment botting is no where near as profitable as it usto be. Even for training skills i.e combat skills, the risk of bans are higher then usual.

 

Personally , I believe it still does earn profit even on a smaller scale and honestly , if done right you can look at good small profit from just botting 3-4 accounts but if you look at time nd mney spent - money earned , the profits are still in the positives . But if your doing this your simply looking at a 1-3 hundred profit a month (;
