Question about buying gold

Ok so I have a quick question regarding buying gold and bans on OSRS.

Ok so to start off I got a temp ban a couple of months ago for minor botting. It was one of those automated ones that caught me doing something dumb and I got a 2 day temp ban. Also, I'm done with botting and won't be doing it anymore if that matters since this is a main I care about and I don't want to lose it. From what I've heard, your account is monitored more closely because of this for god knows how long (maybe until the year long offense expires?).

So normally I know that buying gold is usually safe and you're 99% likely to not get caught (as a buyer), but I'm curious / afraid that with this temp ban on my account that I'm being watched more carefully and I'm more likely to be detected RWTing.

I only want to buy like 200M as I've grinded out a lot more than that on my own and just don't want to grind for a while. If anyone knows the depth of how at risk you are with a temp ban I'd love to hear about it. My account is pretty good (like 2100 total, all quests done, most BiS gear except some really pricey items) and I value the account greatly so that's why I'm here asking.

And before anyone responds with "herp derp best answer is to just not do it if you value the account that much"... I know this. If there's any real risk at all, I'm not going to buy gold. If I didn't have the temp ban on my account, I'd probably just go and do it. But here I am. I mean hell... I'd just buy bonds if they weren't over 2x the price of gold selling websites. I think you should be good. If your paranoid wait out the year and then buy the gold.

 

Buy gold on alt let sit for few weeks and if you don’t get banned on the alt trade it over to your main , won’t be problem then since both on same ip
