    What is a VPS?

A VPS is a Virtual Private System? Laughing out loud, I'm unsure about the S but I do know that it's used by the majority for botting on runescape. It's like a desktop within your desktop that doesn't interfere with your computer at all. You can be botting on your VPS and close it and it'll still bot or you can even shut off your computer.

    What is a VPS?

You have to buy them. They cost like usually around 5.99 to 10.99 a month and are a pain in the ass to set up. I use to use Burst.net but they stopped allowing runescape to be played on their VPS. I'm pretty sure someone around here will know a good place to buy from just make sure you ask them if they allow games such as runescape or read their T.O.S.

Also rsbots.net has a very good detailed guide on how to install and setup your VPS.

    What is a VPS?

Rsbotvps.com is the only one I know of that allows botting. Also, I'm almost positive it stands for Virtual Private Server, not Virtual Private System. Basically all it is is a remote computer lol :p that's in the simplest terms, from what I understand its actually one computer that holds several nodes of the PC, almost like a partition of a hard drive. They're not that hard to set up from what I understand actually, and many people on Sythe will do it for you for free. :D

    What is a VPS?

    Vps - Visual Private Server.

With the help of software you are basically able to run multiple operating systems (different ones even if you want to) on ONE PHYSICAL computer.

For example your physical computer has 10GB ram, and you want to run some vps on it you can for example give 2 of your vps 3GB ram each and keep 4GB for your own physical system.

Advantages of a VPS is that it's a low cost server, because if you have to run 3 servers instead your electric bill will be 3x as much and so will the costs for you computer.

You can connect and work on a VPS just like any other server, and run applications / programs on it. If you are renting a VPS your own computer does not need to be turned on and you can still run the applications / programs you wish to run on your VPS. Such as commonly used runescape bots.

    Was I clear enough?

    What is a VPS?

VPS stands for Virtual Private Server. It's effectively just an external desktop that takes all the strain of whatever you want it to do by running it all off of the systems of the company you bought the VPS from. It basically stops your own computer being slow and laggy by processing resource hungry applications and programs elsewhere.
