Personal Botfarm for profit

Hey everyone,

I wanted to ask... Has anyone in their own experience. Ran a personal bot farm for (in game profit). So say 1-5 consistent bots. I only ask because I work 2 jobs with little time to play. I've read the bot farming free guide on here thrice and i'm very used to botting. So... as i said before botting for in-game profit, what did you do mainly and roughly the profit margin.

Roughly a year and a half ago, a few friends and I invested together into some Virtual Private Servers and botting scripts and started botting together. We segregated the accounts into 4 and handled our own together, only borrowing each other if we were going away etc.

Overall, we had it going for about a month, and made roughly $380 USD profit in that month, so it only worked out to be just under $25 a week each.

After all the time spent investing, it didn't really feel worth it. If we'd managed to keep it going, we'd have been fine, but when bots started to get banned, it just became a struggle.

 

I would suggest botting on OSRS as the ban rate is lower there (less mods). There's many different methods and scripts to make a nice profit. The usual profit per hour farmers get is 300k ish, which is like 0.35$ ph. Ofcourse u usually have some basic costs like bonds and some starting cash. Running just 2 accounts botting for like 6 hours a day already makes 6 x 2 x $0.35 = $4.20 a day. Gold Farming isn't easy at all tho, its a lot of trial and error before you get the hang of it and can keep the bots running for like a month +. It's possible tho!

 

Only thing I can suggest is find something that makes a decent amount of money that few people do / know about. If you can, make a personal botting script around it (the more complex, the less chance of a ban / being detected). If you can't make it, try and find a coder who can whip one up for you. It's rather easy to find someone.

I've seen people recommend a VPS, yeah they work great for starting out. However when you get into and start to gain money it's time to up the hardware.

I'd build your own tower that can handle about 50+ bots at a given time. Link them up with a dedicated IP and load the script. Check on them every so often and remove the RSPG daily! Most people won't but I'd highly recommend it in case of bans.

Been running lots of bots on OSRS for fun for a while now.

 

Darkscape right now is nice to bot on, I havnt received a ban in over 2 months. and running bots 24/7.

as an above posted stated, find a market that not many people want to do. in ds for example is collecting secondary herb supplies.

DMM is the best to bot on as the dmm rates are very good.
