Essentially, what I think he is suggesting as that in order for one to 'beat' deadman mode, you ought be working together as a collective. He will be providing supplies to the clan, in this case food, in order to help the others train their combat skills. Others will join in and skill other things; such as, smithing and mining. Who would then be able to work together to smith new weaponry for the clan.

I like the concept, but don't let others take advantage of this.
