VeloxBot - Java Color Bot

Hi,

I'd like to introduce you to VeloxBot. VeloxBot is an automation(bot) program for RuneScape, it is created in Java and recognizes colors to function.

Q & A

Q : Who is developing VeloxBot?
A : Myself and Velox are the main people working on the bot however there are others. Viper is creating our script repository which should go live soon.

Q : How does it work?
A : You use scripts which use points and colors to interact ingame and perform tasks.

Q : Will you support OpenGL?
A : Yes in the future we are planning an openGL intercept or possibly DirectX so that we have a faster and more reliable bot.

Q : What motivated you to work on this so close to the proposed dooms day of bots?

A : We are confident that this bot will survive the nuke, since we are a color bot we are only loading the game then grabbing the canvas. JaGeX will have a hard time preventing us do what we do without ruining the game.

Q : Do you have any Plan B's or C's in place to try and bring the bot up again after Botany Bay or the nuke?
A : Like I said we shouldn't be effected. Furthermore our API utilizes a lot of random movements and is human like.

Q : The nuke will still allow for Injection bots, as it is not changing the code. How does VeloxBot propose it will avoid detection, seeing as the nuke is actually a detection software.
A : Injection bots are more detectable due to the modification of the client, we don't modify the client and they can't detect the canvas hack as it isn't theirs. In addition to this we are basically randomizing most methods so that each click is different than the last. We are working on making the bot more human like and our mouse splines aren't big curves but more how you would move your mouse.

Q : What OS's will be supported?
A : All OS's will be supported.

Basically it sounds like you, Velox and Viper have put a lot of work into this and it would suck if it were all for nothing.

Yes we have put a decent amount of work into this and will continue to, Viper is porting his repo from an old botting site which no longer exists.

The bot isn't finished yet so no scripts. I have had word of a dungeoneering script

 

That would be intriguing, a Dungeoneering script would be remarkably hard to code in color but anything is possible. Would the scripter only get the profits or would you and the other developer of the client get some also? If the proposed nuke does go ahead and your bot continues to function you could get very wealthy...
I'd probably assist that also, a Color Dungeoneering script would be awesome!

What is it supposed to be like when you use scripts etc? Which bot could you compare it to? (Obviously something easy to use would be preferable like Powerbot)

We have still yet to decide on how premium scripts will work. The dungeoneering script probably won't support all floors etc but it is a big step for color bots.

Jheeez looks pretty sweet can't wait to see some more pictures (possibily a video in action ). But it looks nice and will it be similar to websites e.g. Rsbuddy, Rsbot where there are free scripts but there are some premium?

 

I doubt it, however RiD charges whereas we are free.

The bot will always be free, some scripts may cost.
