Well, it depends what you're using it for..

For one, all free and most paid VPN's keep logs of your activities and would give you up to the authorities at the drop of a hat.

Free VPN's tend to be very slow. With Cyberghost and other free VPN's, they will make you wait for a connection sometimes.. Cyberghost does this and it can take like 30 minutes to connect early in the morning in the US because all the school kids are trying to use it. Even when you do connect, you can have a very low connection speed.

I recommend Blackshades for a paid VPN http://blackshades.ru/vpn/

tell me what you need it for so I can help more.

Thankyou for the reply :) I never knew that something that was "protecting" you, would alert the authorities... It seems safer to just use your own IP address.

No, they won't snitch, but if asked they'd readily give up any logs they have of your activities.

What would you be needing to protect? There are other options usually..

I hope you're not using this for what I think you're using this.

When it comes to RuneScape, VPNs are mainly used to recover or "dox" people's accounts, since recovery depends at least 50% on the account's IP address.

What do you plan on using it for? Pretty much you just have to remember it means people can see what you're doing. But it's kinda the same with your ISP.

I thought they would monitor you waiting to :p

I'm not trying to scam any RuneScape accounts.

They're made so that people can't watch you o_O Thankyou for all of the replies :)
