Long term effects of adderral?

I have just started to try adderral for finals and so far its doing wonders for me. I was diagnosed for adhd before, but I didn't want to take any medication for it because I have heard it makes people depressed, not eat, etc... Now that I have tried it for the first time (for college finals) I am thinking about getting a prescription, but I would like to hear from long term adderral, or any other other adhd medication, users.
