is it illegal to buy RP with another currency?

similar to runescape membership pins, You're able to switch countries, pay in their money (russian ruble, libra, etc) and spend $60 for $100 worth of gaming items.

is it illegal in anyway to purchase stuff thru another country to recieve a cheaper price then home price?



(only reason im asking is i tried to buy RP, guy wanted 90%, told him how to get it cheap and he said "

1. The only way to get a discount beyond that is through hacked/cracked rp (edited)
2. But it you don’t mind that, np "

so is getting this 30-40% off deal illegal?

 

illegal as in bannable? yes

if youre just getting the rp gifted then the only risk is having the skins removed

1. You're lying and screwing the company for more gain. Which lol, patch it if you dont like it. So I dont think it's illegal in laws but its basically deception.

and yes, I was thinking about paying a gifter.

But to be even more safe, I was thinking why don't I gift myself so then I dont have a hot seller sending me items that could be removed. but ty for warning region switching isn't as smooth as I would think.
